Our exams are painless and non-invasive – most patients can even avoid dilation though our Eye Wellness Exam, which allows us to examine detailed images of your retinas through our OPTOS Wide-Field Retinal Imaging and OCT retinal imaging systems.
Even if you have 20/20 vision, you still need regular eye exams. Many sight-threatening conditions have no noticeable symptoms before they cause irreversible damage to your eyes. When a five-year-old boy was blinded after a regular eye exam failed to spot a retinal detachment, his father made it his life’s work to develop a better way to scan the retina. He created the Optos Wide-Field Retinal Imaging system, and it allows us to see more of your retina and protect the health of your eyes and vision for life.
OPTICAL Coherence Tomography
Our OCT is a state-of-the-art non-invasive imaging system that uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of the retina, allowing early diagnosis of sight-threatening conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.
